It is interesting to note that "There was no notion of current and resistance to speaking of before 1800." but here is a Wikipedia article on the history of battery that talks about Franklin's "experiments with electricity" in 1749. Is it a different definition of electricity? is it like something we now identify as electricity was called something else in those days? | |
