Sep 15, 2016 at 11:41 comment added Mauro ALLEGRANZA I think it is a simple case of "updating" a well-known textbook, due to the deep changes that occurred into physics between the first edition (1904-05) and the 30's. Due to the death of Abraham (1922), it looks "reasonable" that the work has been "assigned" to a young and renowned theoretical physicist.
