About

I'm 76 years old but feel 50. OK I have a missing lens in my right eye and my wife wishes I'd wear my hearing aid when she talks to me. But, I work as a contractor for a major defense contractor (LM) out of my home office. Not bad. I get free protheses: 2 monitors with which to see better (and magnify anything) plus headphones and a mic with which to hear and speak better. Can't beat that.

So physics is a side passion. I started a BS at the U of Minnesota in Physics after realizing that SciFi writers wrote about physics (if they were good writers). But...I lacked the gonzos to study, memorize and read the details of the textbook. The University counselors suggested Humanities, which I did, plus English Lit. That rolled my into a free Air Force program that sent me to USC Cinema where George Lucas (the great) was one year ahead of me. So now I'm here in Stack Exchange asking a weird question about spatial coherence from the Pole Star hitting the Earth's North Pole.

Well, that's a Q for my novel that is being ghostwritten for me (remember, I have a full time job as a contractor for LM). My hero was born "out of time" plus his twin sister (look up monozygotic twins of opposite sex in Wiki). Their first breath occurred simultaneously (yes, one lived off the umbilical cord while the other was being born). Since it all happened at the North Pole (which my writer will embellish with my plot suggestions), they got zapped by vibes from the N. Pole. (Cool?)

And so....they shared genes and shared astrolo- no astronomical influences from the Pole Star... Now adding in the fact that those vibes travel at the speed of light, during which the vibes "feel no passage of time" from emission to collision with those kids breath-startup neurons, you get the story. The kids are linked, both of them, to the Pole Star like nobody has been linked before. So read about identical twin psychology on Wiki, too.

The babies exhibited psychokinetic power. Being smart, their mom agreed to have them raised separately. So that's the back story. I still gotta have my ghost figure out a great present day story....

I love physics. It's the new esoteric knowledge like the The Emerald Tablet of Hermes, the Hermetica or whatever. Read and try to understand vacuum state, time dilation, 2-D holographic black holes. When you understand, then by definition, you live enlightenment.

Read the book, by the way, to hear the riddle--it's a great one worthy of Dan Brown (I hope). Any movie producers reading this can send me an email. I'll deal.

Onwards, John, PhD in cognitive psychology, paid for by Eastman Kodak on a Visual Scholar's Program for which I wrote an essay saying I wanted to research what makes a "Seer"... And I did research that, using brain wave "alpha coherence" measures. (Not too different than spatial coherence discussed above hitting earth at the N Pole from the Pole Star.) Curious, that.
