I'm a civil engineer, very fond of all kinds of old silly fictions that had been planted in the true mathematical sciences, started early from the absolute fact of no circle ever exists with two historical no existing numbers like $(\pi, \sqrt[3]{2}, e, 0, - 1, i, ...)$ etc, to the silliest fiction of infinity and fake one like this $0.999...$, sure
